Ludlow

Ludlow's castle (http://www.ludlowcastle.c...) is typical of medieval English castles, and from as early as the norman invasion of 1066 has had a rich and interesting history.

You can see other examples of historical architecture in Ludlow, from its fine old church to a magnificently restored late medieval house on Castle square, open to the public.

Overlooked by the Church, Ludlow's river is also nice to see. In the summer, you can hire out boats and row along the river, under the shade of some trees.
